Formed on the terraces of York City, Button Down is a factual TV indie in the North of England. We are a full service production company, from idea creation through to content delivery. We make long-form and short-form films and series for the UK's major broadcasters and a host of online platforms.

Our work for broadcasters and brands is narrative driven with high production values. Based in the heart one of the UK's most historic and creative cities (York is Britain's only UNESCO City of Media Arts), storytelling is in our DNA. With first-class edit facilities on site, and a highly talented team with a vast array of industry experience, we deliver premium shows to meet all needs and budgets.
